Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups fresh green beans
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Vegetable oil (for cooking)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Season the sliced chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned. Remove the chicken from the skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil and stir-fry the green beans for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet. Combine soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes in a bowl; pour over the chicken and beans. Stir to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
