  • 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna, drained
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • ½ stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 34 tbsp mayonnaise
  • ⅓ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Sliced bread (your choice)
  • Butter, softened
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine drained tuna, chopped onion, celery, parsley, and minced garlic.
  2. Mix in mayonnaise and mozzarella cheese until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  4. Butter one side of a slice of bread and place it butter-side down in the skillet.
  5. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the tuna mixture onto the bread and top with another slice of buttered bread (butter-side up).
  6. Grill until both sides are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
