Ingredients
- 12–15 jumbo pasta shells
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups fresh spinach (chopped) or 1 cup frozen spinach (thawed)
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- Garlic
- Italian seasoning
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil salted water in a large pot; cook pasta shells until al dente. Drain and cool.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, half the mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, spinach, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each shell with the filling and place them in a baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce over stuffed shells; sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until golden.
