- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 6 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice or ground cinnamon
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1/4 tsp maple extract
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp milk or cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350℉ and prepare a light metal loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix softened butter and dark brown sugar until smooth. Add pumpkin puree and eggs; mix well.
- Combine spices, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and flour into the batter until just mixed.
- In another bowl, prepare the streusel by combining melted butter, flour, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spice until it resembles wet sand.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and top with streusel mixture. Bake for 55–60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- While cooling, whisk together glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled bread before slicing.
