  • 5 large egg yolks
  • 22 ounces sweetened condensed milk (1 14-ounce can and ¾ cup from 2nd can)
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground cookies, melted butter, and brown sugar; press into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Whisk lime zest and egg yolks in another bowl; add sweetened condensed milk and lime juice until smooth.
  4. Pour filling over the crust and bake for about 30 minutes until set; cool completely at room temperature.
  5. Refrigerate for at least two hours before serving.
  6. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form; spread over cooled bars before slicing.
