- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup beef broth or water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Brown the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes, then drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until soft (3-4 minutes).
- Layer the ground beef mixture in the baking dish, followed by thinly sliced potatoes. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Top with cheddar and Parmesan cheese; pour beef broth around edges.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
