  • 20 Oreo cookies (230 grams)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 1/3 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 8 ounces bittersweet baking chocolate (melted)
  • 10 tablespoons unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • For topping: Heavy cream, powdered sugar, vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter. Press into a 9-inch pie dish and bake for about 10 minutes. Allow to cool.
  2. In a bowl, beat sugar and eggs until fluffy. Melt the bittersweet chocolate and add it along with vanilla extract to the egg mixture. Gradually mix in room temperature butter until smooth.
  3. Pour the chocolate filling into the cooled crust and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
  4. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Spread over the chilled pie before serving.
