  • 1 packet French onion soup mix

  • ½ cup French-fried onions
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef; drain excess fat and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine uncooked rice, French onion soup mix, and beef broth; stir well.
  4. Add the browned beef to the rice mixture along with sour cream; mix until combined.
  5. Pour into the prepared baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
