  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups Minute rice (white or brown)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) water
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 baking pan with butter.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, water, and Minute rice; stir until well mixed.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and place the chicken breasts on top.
  4. Sprinkle the Lipton onion soup mix over the chicken.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for about 1 to 1½ hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. For an optional cheesy topping, uncover in the last 10 minutes of baking and add shredded cheese.
