  • 7 g instant yeast
  • 20 g honey
  • 400 g flour
  • 1 egg
  • 40 g butter
  • 8 g salt
  • 50 g fine semolina
  • 450 g steak
  • 80 g red onion
  • 75 g red bell pepper
  • Grated cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine lukewarm milk, yeast, and honey in a mixing bowl. Add flour, beaten egg, butter, and salt; knead for 10-12 minutes until smooth.
  2. Cover and let the dough rise in a warm area for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  3. Deflate the dough and divide it into 16 equal pieces. Shape each into a ball and flatten slightly.
  4. Stack two pieces of dough together and press to flatten further; coat both sides with semolina.
  5. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper; let rise again for about 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat a skillet over medium heat; bake each roll until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Cook steak with seasonings and vegetables in another skillet until tender; add cheese to melt before serving.
