  • ¼ cup ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup whipping cream (or sour cream/Greek yogurt)
  • ½ cup milk of choice
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 23 tablespoons cream or milk (for icing)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a bundt pan.
  2. Mix cinnamon sugar by combining sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add eggs one at a time and then stir in vanilla.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder; gradually mix into wet ingredients alternating with whipping cream and milk until smooth.
  6. Layer half of the batter in the bundt pan, sprinkle half the cinnamon mixture on top, then add remaining batter followed by the rest of the cinnamon sugar.
  7. Bake for about 55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool before icing with powdered sugar mixed with cream/milk and vanilla.
