  • 15.5 ounces chili hot beans
  • 29 ounces diced tomatoes
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder (divided)
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ tablespoon garlic powder
  • ½ tablespoon salt

Instructions

  1. Dice the onion, green bell pepper, and garlic.
  2. Sauté the vegetables in a large skillet with oil over medium heat for 2–3 minutes until softened.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned; sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of chili powder while cooking.
  4. Transfer the meat and vegetables to a slow cooker; add remaining ingredients and stir well.
