Ingredients
- 4 small to medium chicken breasts (or 2 large halved)
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup light cream or heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or oregano
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Optional: 1 cup chopped spinach
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, lower heat and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add cream, stirring continuously.
- Mix in Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese until smooth. If using spinach, stir it in and simmer until wilted.
- Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and simmer for another minute before serving.
