  • 3 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 medium red onion, finely diced
  • 1 rib celery, finely diced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, finely diced
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water until cooled.
  2. In a separate mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, yellow mustard, white vinegar, black pepper, sugar, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir in the diced vegetables until well mixed.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooled pasta with half of the dressing mixture. Toss gently to coat.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours for flavors to meld. Before serving, add the remaining dressing and adjust seasoning if necessary.
