Description

Churro Cheesecake Bars are an enchanting fusion of two beloved desserts, blending the crispy, cinnamon-sugar goodness of churros with a rich and creamy cheesecake filling.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for cinnamon sugar topping)
  • 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for cream cheese filling)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 (8 oz) cans Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth; add sugar, egg, and vanilla, then mix until creamy.
  4. Spray a 9×13" baking pan with non-stick spray and sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture across the bottom.
  5. Unroll one can of dough onto waxed paper, press seams together, and place in the pan over the cinnamon layer.
  6. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  7. Top with another layer of dough from the second can.
  8. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar on top.
  9. Bake for about 30 minutes or until light brown and bubbly. Allow cooling before cutting into squares.
