Description

Blackened Steak and Shrimp Alfredo is a rich, indulgent dish that perfectly marries the bold flavors of seasoned shrimp and tender steak in a creamy alfredo sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 pound large shrimp, raw and deveined
  • 1 pound top sirloin steak, cut into cubes
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons blackened seasoning
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • Kosher salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot; add penne pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Toss shrimp with 1 teaspoon blackened seasoning. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; cook shrimp until pink (about 3-4 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, cook seasoned steak for 5-7 minutes until browned but tender. Remove from heat.
  4. Melt butter in the skillet; sauté onion until translucent. Add garlic, then gradually stir in heavy cream.
  5. Slowly mix in parmesan until melted; season with remaining blackened seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add cooked pasta, shrimp, and steak to coat evenly.
  6. Serve hot garnished with chopped parsley.
