  • 2 15 oz black beans, drained and rinsed
  • ¾ cup tomato, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp hot sauce
  • 6 large tortillas (burrito size)
  • 6 tostadas
  • 6 small fajita size tortillas
  • ⅓ cup sour cream
  • 1½ cup cheese, shredded
  • 1½ cup romaine, shredded
  • ½ cup salsa (optional)
  • 1 avocado, sliced thin (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping vegetables and rinsing the black beans.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté onions in olive oil until translucent. Add garlic powder, spices, tomatoes, black beans, jalapeños, and hot sauce; mix well.
  3. Assemble each wrap by layering the filling on a tortilla with cheese and toppings. Fold securely around a tostada.
  4. Toast in a lightly oiled pan on medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
