Instructions

- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, combine melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add egg, vanilla extract, and applesauce; mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Gently fold in diced apples.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for approximately 10 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar and apple cider or juice.
